The Association for Psychological Type, an international organization, promotes the practical application and ethical use of psychological Type. We achieve this through linking individuals and others in Type with opportunities for continuous learning, sharing experience, and creating understanding and knowledge through research.

CAPT (Center for Applications of Psychological Type)
The Center was started by Isabel Myers and Mary McCaulley; it is dedicated to the fostering of human understanding through research and training about psychological Type.
The Center maintains an extensive research library and research services, conducts workshops on application of Type, publishes and sells books and training materials, and distributes the MBTI Indicator and scoring tools.

CPP (Consulting Psychologists)
CPP is the publisher of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). It sells MBTI forms, scoring tools, and assessment booklets — and is a major publisher of books on the MBTI and other assessment tools. CPP also offers qualified users of the MBTI an online scoring service.
