Andrea has more than 18 years of experience within the financial services industry, which has led her to her current position as CEO, and founder of Ironstone Communications. Her spirit and passion for helping people achieve their true potential led her to this current endeavor where she can explore the creative side of what Andrea likes to call, “Forging the Human Element”.

Formerly with DWS Investments (Deutsche Asset Management), Andrea was an Executive Coach where her primary responsibilities included the design and delivery of sales and communications skills programs for investments professionals, top producers and sales management along with keynote events throughout the financial industry.

Ironstone’s professional development programs are founded on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a 60-plus year time-tested psychological instrument helping executives make more informed decisions.

    1. Keynote Speaking: Andrea frequently serves as a keynote speaker on such topics as sale and presentation skills, team building, personality types and time-and-practice management. Andrea offers her expertise at national conferences, breakout sessions and “lunch and learn” events.

    2. Business Coaching: Prior to joining the team, she was with American Skandia as a director for the Learning Organization supporting the development of both Wirehouse and Independent wholesaling professionals. Before that, she was an independent business coach. Prior experience also includes regional vice president training specialist at Dreyfus Investments.

    3. Consulting: Andrea has been in the business of coaching executives and their teams for over 18 years. She knows the business of coaching and team building, helping teams forge together more powerfully to make better business decisions.

Previous positions for Andrea include working with American Skandia, a Prudential Financial company as a director for the Learning Organization, supporting the development for all channels of wholesaling professionals. Andrea also worked with Dreyfus Investments as a regional vice president training specialist, where she provided training programs for thousands of wholesalers and advisors on salesmanship, territory management and teamwork.
